Founded in 2009, Pluto Journals is an independent, scholarly and international journal publisher that contributes to the fields of politics, international studies, law, labour studies, political economy and Arab and Islamic studies, among others.
In 2021 Pluto Journals became open access and all articles are now free to read and download. They are the first social science publisher to take all of its journals into open access at one time. Pluto Journals is dedicated to the liberation of knowledge, ensuring that scholarly research is available to everyone, regardless of their financial or institutional resources.
All Pluto Journals titles are free to read on Science Open and Jstor.
